The countdown is on for the biggest celebration of women’s football in Asia Pacific – the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday 25 July, across the three host cities: Gold Coast, Perth and Sydney.

This first release features Multi-Match Pack tickets, giving fans the chance to secure seats to some of the tournament’s most exciting fixtures, taking place 1–21 March 2026. Single-match tickets will follow later in the year.

The official Final Draw will be announced on Tuesday 29 July, when the 12 qualified teams will be drawn into three groups of four. For the first time, the draw will be seeded according to FIFA Women’s World Rankings, setting a new benchmark for the tournament.

The 2026 edition will also serve as the final Asian qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and – for the first time – as the penultimate stage of Olympic qualification for LA28, with all quarterfinalists progressing to the next Olympic round.

Hosting this global tournament brings significant benefits to the Gold Coast, including increased visitation, extended hotel stays, global media exposure, and opportunities for local engagement across tourism, sport and business. It's a chance for our city to shine on the international stage.

Qualified Teams: Australia, Japan, DPR Korea, China PR, Korea Republic, Vietnam, Philippines, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, India, Bangladesh and Iran.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the action. Tickets on sale Friday 25 July, and live Draw Tuesday 29 July.

The prestigious 2026 Australian WPGA Championship will return to the Gold Coast from 19–22 March 2026, hosted at the world-class Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club. The tournament will showcase elite women’s golf on The Palms course, further cementing the Gold Coast’s reputation as a premier sporting destination.

For the first time, the WPGA Championship will be held as a standalone event, following this year’s cancellation due to Cyclone Alfred. The winner will receive the Karrie Webb Cup, honouring one of Australia’s greatest golfers and her ongoing commitment to supporting the tournament.

This championship is a major highlight on the WPGA Tour of Australasia calendar and a key feature of the Gold Coast Festival of Golf — a vibrant, family-friendly celebration hosted in partnership with the PGA of Australia, Mulpha Australia, Tourism & Events Queensland, and Experience Gold Coast. The festival offers more than just golf, with interactive experiences including food, shopping, and opportunities to watch, play, and learn golf in a festive atmosphere.

It’s a busy sporting calendar on the Gold Coast, with the event coinciding with the T100 Triathlon, which brings elite international triathletes to compete at the highest level. Together, these events create a weekend packed with world-class competition and community engagement, making it a must-see opportunity to enjoy top-tier sport across the city.

Ticketing is free, with premium hospitality packages available via Ticketek.
