Home of the Arts (HOTA) is the Gold Coast’s creative hub where art, entertainment, culture and lifestyle meet. The precinct includes the $60 million HOTA Gallery, an outdoor amphitheatre, theatres and a cinema and performance spaces, centred around the picturesque Evandale Lake and the surrounding parklands. The HOTA Gallery spans five levels with touring and permanent exhibitions, collections, Indigenous art, and a Children's Gallery.HOTA’s outdoor stage is purpose built to showcase some of the best local and international talent. Many world-famous bands and musicians have graced this stage, with the grassy amphitheatre transformed into a pumping live music experience for up five thousand attendees.
On Sunday mornings, the HOTA Farmers & Artisan Markets are held in the parklands from 6 - 11.30am and visitors can shop in-season farm-fresh produce, delicious artisan foods, boutique fashion and handcrafted wares.

Palette Restaurant
Celebrate art on a plate at HOTA’s hatted restaurant where Executive Chef, Dayan Hartill-Law, and his dedicated team create a unique fine-dining experience with Australian made, grown and sourced ingredients. Found on the Ground Floor of the Gallery, Palette takes inspiration from artworks on display and major exhibitions to show just how naturally art and food combine. The dining experience is complimented by a carefully curated wine list. Choose from a tasting menu with a vegetarian option, order a la carte or treat yourself to Sunday High Tea. Located on Level 5 of the HOTA Gallery, The Exhibitionist Bar is the highest open air rooftop bar in the city and boasts stunning panoramic views of the cultural precinct, the Surfers Paradise skyline and the surrounding landscape. Visit in the morning for a quality coffee and cake, or enjoy a creative cocktail inspired by one of the exhibitions on display in the gallery below. Alternatively, select a glass or bottle from the curated champagne menu, along with a selection of bar snacks and light meals designed to share. The Exhibitionist is is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sweeping vistas after a day of cultural appreciation. The Exhibitionist is open seven days a week.
