EVENT FUNDING CHECKLIST UNSUCCESSFUL

UNSUCCESSFUL

Unfortunately, your event does not meet our Event Funding Checklist criteria.

Our Event Funding Checklist requires a minimum number of positive responses to progress to the next stage. Based on your responses, unfortunately your event does not meet the strategic objectives to the extent where event support would be available at this stage.

Whilst we are unable to support your event at this time, other Queensland and local government funding opportunities are available through the following programs:

Sport and recreation

The Queensland Government’s Department of Sport and Recreation provides a range of funding annually through programs centred towards new and improved opportunities for people to participate in sport and active recreation.

Arts & Culture

The Queensland Government offers funding to support artists, arts and cultural workers and organisations through Arts Queensland.

Community grants

The City of Gold Coast offers Community Grants Programs that are designed to assist community organisations to deliver projects or events that benefit the residents of the Gold Coast and promote community outcomes.

Community Grants are available via several different funding programs run on an annual basis, generally from the start of July.

To be eligible to apply for a community grant, community organisations must be able to demonstrate that the event meets the objectives of the particular funding program and is aligned with the City’s Vision.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your interest in holding your event on the Gold Coast. We wish you every success.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Experience Gold Coast acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout Southeast Queensland.
