Experience Gold Coast and Gold Coast Airport (GCA) have partnered to drive tourism and enhance travel experiences for all visitors to the Gold Coast.
The partnership highlights both Experience Gold Coast and Gold Coast Airport’s commitment to promoting the city as a premier tourism destination while aspiring to support accessible initiatives across the industry.
Experience Gold Coast CEO John Warn said the partnership builds on the strength of our existing relationship with the airport as we continue to work together to shine a spotlight on our incredible destination - the lifestyle capital of the world.
“Experience Gold Coast represents a one-stop shop to support tourism, be it through events, education, or our arts and culture offering, so it just makes sense to announce our first whole of Experience Gold Coast partnership with the Gold Coast Airport - as the gateway to this city,” Mr Warn said.
“Together we want to ensure that our visitors feel welcomed and confident from the moment they touch down at the airport through the experiences delivered across the Gold Coast.”
Queensland Airports Limited Chief Executive Officer Amelia Evans said that joining forces with EGC represented an opportunity to deliver initiatives designed to attract more visitors and enhance their travel experience with a focus on ensuring the Gold Coast is an inclusive city for everyone to enjoy.
“At Gold Coast Airport, we take pride in being the gateway to one of Australia’s most vibrant and inclusive cities. As we continue to enhance accessibility within our terminal and precinct in close collaboration with our airport stakeholders, we’re excited to partner with Experience Gold Coast to champion further inclusive initiatives across the city,” Ms Evans said.
“Through this collaboration, we are reinforcing our commitment to inclusiveness and partnering on events to ensure they are accessible and welcoming for everyone.
“This partnership supports our vision to continually innovate and improve the travel experience for all visitors, ensuring the Gold Coast is not just a beautiful destination but an inclusive one,” she said.
