HOTA's own Palette Restaurant has once again retained its three Chef Hats from the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG), cementing its position among the Gold Coast’s finest dining destinations.

GC LAUGHS RETURNS TO HOTA FOR 2026

The Gold Coast’s biggest celebration of comedy is back. GC Laughs Festival returns for 2026, delivering ten days of non-stop laughs, bold performances, brilliant comic talent and the return of the much-anticipated GC Laughs Gala. 

From household names to rising stars, the festival showcases a packed program of stand-up, stories and side-splitting moments guaranteed to leave jaws aching and spirits high.

QUEENSLAND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA BRINGS WORLD PREMIERE TO HOTA

Prepare for a night of beauty, brilliance, and music as Queensland Symphony Orchestra returns to HOTA in April featuring a world premiere from Australian composer Jessica Wells’ Suite from Butterfly Effect. 

Waxman’s Carmen Fantasie and Tchaikovsky’s sparkling Valse-Scherzo offer thrilling moments for solo violin, before Glazunov’s Scènes de ballet closes the concert with rhapsodic fervour. 

You’ll also hear Australian composer Jessica Wells’ Suite from Butterfly Effect, a World Premiere that’s a fresh and poignant take on the iconic opera, alongside the stately Polonaise from Eugene Onegin.
