CAREERS WEEK 2026 IS COMING TO THE GOLD COAST
At Experience Gold Coast, a big part of what we do is connecting students with industry and helping them build confidence through real opportunities. Careers Week 2026 is all about exactly that, giving students the tools, insights, and inspiration to take their next step.
From 11–15 May, the Gold Coast Student Hub and HOTA will come alive with a week of interactive sessions designed for domestic and international students, graduates, and career changers. Then, we take it even further at the Gold Coast Careers Festival (20–21 May) — one of Queensland’s biggest careers events.
What’s on during Careers Week:
- Explore: Study & Migration – What Comes Next
- Reinvent You: Your Career Change Guide
- Professional Careers on the Gold Coast
- From Idea to Impact: Your Startup Journey Begins
- Styled for Success: Look Sharp, Speak Smart
- Careers Alliance Networking Event @ HOTA
This is more than a series of events, it’s a platform to help students discover pathways, connect with industry, and step confidently into the workforce.

STRENGTHENING GLOBAL CONNECTIONS WITH BRAZIL
Gus Cominese and Cherie Huang proudly represented Experience Gold Coast at a special evening in Brisbane welcoming the newly appointed Consul-General of Australia in São Paulo, Gabrielle Hall.
The event brought together ABCC members, directors, and distinguished guests, with remarks also shared by Jon Krause MP, Justin McGowan, and Val Noleto.
Brazil continues to play a key role in our education ecosystem, currently the number one nationality of international students on the Gold Coast and one of the largest in Queensland.
A great opportunity to deepen relationships between Australia and Brazil, and continue building impact across education
