THE ULTIMATE JET-POWERED CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE GOLD COAST

Pacific Airshow is confirmed to return to the Gold Coast on 14–16 August 2026, with tickets on sale ahead of Christmas for the first time. Following the cancellation of the 2025 event due to Cyclone Alfred, the comeback is set to be bigger than ever, delivering three days of high-adrenaline aerobatics and jet displays above our iconic beachfront.  

New additions include a premium Garden Bar on the sand, while crowd favourites such as Private Cabanas, Chalets and the Beach Club also return. Families can enjoy an enhanced Kids Zone and the new NXTGN STEM Lab designed to inspire young aviation enthusiasts.  

The comeback of this blockbuster event will put the Gold Coast on the global stage once again with three massive days of jaw-dropping aerobatics and thunderous jet displays expected to deliver an economic boost exceeding $32 million to the city.

FROM BEACH TO RACETRACK: MAGIC MILLIONS CARNIVAL IS BACK IN 2026

The 2026 TAB Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival will once again showcase Queensland’s premier racing event, combining world-class thoroughbred competition with the glitz and glamour across thirteen magical days.  

The Carnival continues to grow as a truly global spectacle, elevating the Gold Coast’s international profile. The full ambassador line-up returns, including Zara and Mike Tindall, polo duo Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, Billy and Nicole Slater and Hamish McLachlan, showcasing world-class equestrian passion and celebrity appeal.  

The program spans sport, entertainment and commerce, while strongly championing women in the industry. Highlights include the Magic Millions Racing Women Achievement Awards on 9 January, Magic Millions Gold Twilight Meeting under lights on 10 January with $7.3 million in prize money, Pacific Fair Polo & Showjumping on 11 January, and the iconic beachside TAB Barrier Draw at Broadbeach on 13 January. The Carnival culminates with a $13.25 million TAB Magic Millions Raceday on 17 January, cementing the Gold Coast’s global reputation for glamour, horsepower and elite competition.
