Experience Gold Coast Launches New International Incentive Campaign

09 Dec 2025

Experience Gold Coast (EGC) has unveiled a new international incentive campaign targeting the lucrative incentive event market across South East Asia, India and the broader Asia Pacific region.

The program aims to attract small to medium-sized incentive groups looking to connect, inspire and celebrate their teams with a trip to the Gold Coast by 30 June 2027.

Eligible groups of between 70 and 250 delegates who book a minimum two-night stay on the Gold Coast can unlock up to $70 per delegate towards their next international incentive program to the city.

Experience Gold Coast Executive Director of Events, Avril Harris, said international incentives remain a key priority for the city, with growing opportunities emerging from Taiwan and India alongside traditional markets.

“The Experience Gold Coast Business Events team is securing incentive business with much shorter lead times, sometimes just 12 months out, reflecting the growing appetite for high quality, reward-based travel experiences,” Ms Harris said.

This year, the city welcomed HDFC Bank from India, hosting 2,000 delegates; the FUJIKIZAI 80th Anniversary Incentive Trip (Japan) and the SAS Co., Ltd. (Japan) incentive group in November.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Gold Coast is set to welcome Amway Hong Kong Leadership with 400 delegates in March, GoodArch (Taiwan) with 480 delegates in September, and Uniwell (Taiwan) with 1,200 delegates in October.

Experience Gold Coast Director of Business Events, Brooke Campbell, said the new campaign complements a period of unprecedented growth in the city’s experiences and accommodation offering.

“The pace of investment in experiences and both high-end and affordable hotels means we can offer a diverse range of accommodation and itinerary options for incentive groups,” Ms Campbell said.

“This gives us the flexibility to tailor proposals to every client’s style, expectations and budget and more importantly, to consistently exceed their expectations and create memorable moments.

“Our destination is all about connecting teams, inspiring creativity and celebrating success, making the Gold Coast the ultimate incentive choice.”

Recent milestones include the opening of the Mondrian Gold Coast, strengthening the city’s luxury accommodation portfolio. The Star Residences and future icons such as St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton form part of a pipeline that will deliver more than 5,500 new rooms by 2032.

New experiences including Sol Elements Bathhouse and Spa, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s Astra Lumina, a stunning night-time light and sound trail, and Happitat, the world’s first cliff-park nestled in Lamington National Park, joining the hundreds of unique activities already on offer across the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast’s business events sector continues to show exceptional growth, with 77 confirmed events secured through to 2032, representing $204 million in economic impact. This includes 52 national events worth $129 million and 25 international events worth $75 million.

This strong performance follows a record-breaking 2025 financial year during which Experience Gold Coast secured 88 events worth $84 million. Only six months into 2026 financial year, the trajectory already indicates another highly successful year.
