BROADWAY HITS THE GOLD COAST: IN THE HEIGHTS AT HOTA

Before Hamilton, there was In The Heights - Lin-Manuel Miranda’s four-time Tony Award®-winning musical that launched his Broadway career.

After acclaimed runs on Broadway, at the Sydney Opera House, and Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre, In The Heights arrives exclusively at HOTA from 12 September for a strictly limited South-East Queensland season.

The vibrant production bursts with colour and culture, blending hip hop, salsa, and Latin rhythms to authentically capture the heartbeat of New York’s Washington Heights.

Directed by Helpmann Award nominees Luke Joslin and Amy Campbell, the show features standout performances from Ryan Gonzalez (Moulin Rouge!), Olivia Vásquez (West Side Story), Richard Valdez, and Mariah Gonzalez.

Presented by Experience Gold Coast and Joshua Robson Productions, this is a rare chance for Gold Coast audiences to experience the electric energy of Broadway - no passport required.
