SPILT MILK DROPS HUGE 2026 LINEUP FOR THE GOLD COAST
Australia’s biggest single-day music festival, Spilt Milk, is heading back to the Gold Coast, with a huge lineup of international and homegrown talent set to take over the Gold Coast Sports Precinct on Sunday 13 December.
Following a sold-out Gold Coast event in 2025, this year’s festival will be headlined by Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi and British singer-songwriter RAYE, with both making exclusive Australian festival appearances. They’ll be joined by Baby Keem, KETTAMA, Maisie Peters, Remi Wolf and Australian indie favourites DMA’S, who return to Spilt Milk for the first time since performing at the festival’s inaugural edition in 2016.
Rounding out the bill is a strong mix of Australian talent including STÜM, Tobiahs, Becca Hatch, Miss Kaninna and The Terrys, with the Gold Coast lineup still set to grow. A local triple j Unearthed artist will also earn a spot on the Spilt Milk stage, sharing the bill with some of the biggest names in music this December.
CRAFTED CELEBRATES 10 YEARS ON THE GOLD COAST
One of the Gold Coast’s favourite homegrown festivals is marking a milestone in 2026, with Crafted Beer Festival celebrating its 10th anniversary at Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach on Saturday 12 September.
What began as a celebration of the growing craft beer scene has evolved over the past decade into a full-scale beachside festival, bringing together great food, live music, entertainment and, of course, plenty of good brews.
More than 20 local and interstate breweries will pour everything from festival releases and old favourites to seltzers, ginger beers and low and no-alcohol options. There’s plenty happening between pours as well, with food trucks serving up smoky barbecue, loaded fries, tacos and sweet treats, live barbecue action at the Crafted Smokeshow, plus beer yoga, line dancing, ping pong and festival games.
Add a full day of live music and a setting just metres from the sand and Crafted has become much more than a beer festival – it’s a celebration of good food, good music and the Gold Coast’s laid-back outdoor lifestyle.
OLYMPIC-BOUND BEACH SPRINT ROWING MAKES GOLD COAST DEBUT
The Australian Beach Sprint Rowing Championships will make their Gold Coast debut from 3–6 September, bringing four days of high-speed coastal racing to North Kirra and Currumbin Alley. Spectators will have the chance to see Australia’s best Beach Sprint athletes, the Rowsellas, take on the Gold Coast sand and surf alongside competitors from across Australia and Oceania.
Beach Sprint Rowing combines running, rowing and the unpredictability of the ocean, with athletes sprinting across the sand to their boats, navigating a short slalom course through the surf, before racing back to shore for a final sprint to the finish.
The Championships are open to rowers and eligible surf lifesaving club members across school, underage, open and masters competition, and form an important part of Australia’s national Beach Sprint pathway. The event includes selection for Australia’s Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic team, while providing an important competition opportunity as Australia builds towards the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals in China and the discipline’s Olympic debut at Los Angeles 2028.
