THE GOLD COAST LIGHTS UP FOR AACTA
Australia’s film and television industry flocked to HOTA, Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast last week for the 2025 AACTA Festival including the AACTA Awards and AACTA Awards Industry Gala.
The star-studded AACTA Awards shone on the HOTA stage with appearances from Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill, Teresa Palmer, Sam Pang, Guy Pearce, Asher Keddie and Stephen Curry. Queensland-made Boy Swallows Universe and Robbie Williams biopic Better Man were among the big winners across both ceremonies. Award attendees were also treated to special performances by Paul Kelly and Robbie Williams.
During the five-day AACTA Festival attendees were treated to over 100 events ranging from film premieres, masterclasses, a variety of talks, panel sessions, screening, meet-and-greets and a variety of family-friendly activities.
This event shines a spotlight on the city’s thriving film and television industry, celebrating the outstanding craftsmanship and talent of the industry while also showcasing HOTA, Home of the Arts as the city’s cultural hub.
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS TO ROCK HOTA
Legendary Californian rock royalty, Stone Temple Pilots will take to HOTA, Home of the Arts’ stage on Saturday 8 March as part of their long-awaited return to Australian shores to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ‘Purple'.
Joining Stone Temple Pilots on the celebratory tour will be Aussie legends WOLFMOTHER and some very special guests to be announced soon.

AUSTRALIAN WPGA CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2025 Australian WPGA Championship is your chance to witness Australia’s top female golfers showcase their skills on home soil!
From 6-9 March, Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, will host a world-class field of Australian and international players competing for the Karrie Webb Cup.
