EXCLUSIVE EGC NETWORKING EVENT AT THE BONSOY GOLD COAST PRO PRESENTED BY GWM
Earlier this month our long-term industry partners joined us for a special networking event at the VIP Deck of the Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro presented by GWM in Burleigh Heads.
This occasion marked a chance to celebrate and acknowledge businesses that have been part of the EGC journey for many years. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed and scenic setting while connecting with fellow Gold Coast operators and reflecting on the enduring support that has shaped our success.
We’d like to thank the team at WSL and Burleigh Pavilion for their hospitality.

TOURISM IN ACTION AT ATE25
The 45th edition of Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) was held in Brisbane recently, which was the largest trade show event in the southern hemisphere in 17 years.
During the four-day event, over 1,600 members of the Australian tourism industry met with over 700 key international and domestic travel buyers from over 30 countries to inspire future travel via one-on-one business appointments. ATE25 also provides international buyers with the opportunity to experience Australia’s tourism offerings first-hand through familiarisations, of which over 100 International buyers and media visited the Gold Coast.
Alongside our International team were 43 Experience Gold Coast members who attended the event as Queensland or National exhibitors.
Run in conjunction with ATE25, the ATE25 Media Program was held from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 April 2025. Over three days, exhibitor and media delegates had the opportunity to conduct scheduled business appointments during International Media Marketplace, attend a press update, participate in key networking events, and experience Australia's tourism offerings firsthand through pre and post-event familiarisations.
Events like ATE are crucial to the tourism sector, as it brings global tourism wholesalers and retailers from around the world to hear from Australian tourism operators about the experiences they have to offer.
