EXPERIENCE GOLD COAST TAIWAN AND CHINA ROADSHOW

EXPERIENCE GOLD COAST TAIWAN AND CHINA ROADSHOW.jpg

Experience Gold Coast’s Brooke Campbell and Wendy Gu, alongside Anna Case from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Kelly She from Village Roadshow Theme Parks, and Tiffany Callaghan from The Star Gold Coast, have spent the week in Taiwan and China reconnecting with corporate clients and agents. Our mission: to reinforce that the Gold Coast remains a premier destination for business events and to express how much we value their continued partnership.

Covering key cities including Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou, it’s been a productive and vibrant week on the ground.

One standout moment in Taipei saw clients designing their own bespoke Gold Coast hats, then pitching them back to the team - an unexpected yet memorable way to spark creativity, share laughs, and strengthen relationships.

In Shanghai, the team had the honour of meeting with Amway China, where Experience Gold Coast was presented with a beautifully framed gift to commemorate Amway China’s 30th anniversary - a touching tribute to our long-standing relationship.

Each city stop included a seminar, an engaging hands-on activity, and a networking function. These were warmly received by corporate clients and agents, offering an opportunity to not only rekindle interest in the Gold Coast but also to showcase exciting new products and experiences.

This marks the first Business Events Roadshow in the region in over five years — and what a successful return it has been.

CONNECTING FOR SUCCESS: BEA JAPAN B2B BUSINESS EVENT SEMINAR

BEA JAPAN B2B BUSINESS EVENT SEMINAR.jpg

Our Business Events team recently participated in the Business Events Australia (BEA) Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) Seminar held in Osaka and Nagoya, Japan.

Visitor numbers from Japan to Australia continue to recover steadily. According to a recent Tourism Australia survey, Australia is regarded as an ideal destination for MICE.  This presents a valuable opportunity to reconnect with the Japanese travel trade and showcase the Gold Coast as a premier MICE destination for future business.
