CONNECTING GLOBALLY AT IMEX FRANKFURT
IMEX Frankfurt is the premier annual trade show where the global meetings, events, and incentive travel industry gathers, representing the largest event of its kind in Europe.
Over 4,200 international meeting planners and more than 3,100 suppliers from around the world come together to establish meaningful business relationships - aimed at enhancing the quality of events, meetings, and experiences.
Experience Gold Coast participated alongside 19 additional Australian Industry partners on the Business Events Australia Stand, securing 15 confirmed appointments and a similar number of walk-in inquiries.
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST OPEN: THIS IS GOLD COAST 2025
With less than three months to go, planning is in full swing for This is Gold Coast 2025 (TIGC25), our premier business events familiarisation program.
We’ve already seen strong interest from hosted buyers applying to attend, and our team is currently in the process of qualifying applicants. Hosted buyers include conference and business event organisers from across Australia and New Zealand.
TIGC25 features a dynamic, fast-paced program made up of showcase networking events and a full-day tradeshow which includes pre-scheduled 1:1 appointments with local business event suppliers. The program is designed to spark bold ideas, build valuable partnerships, and showcase the Gold Coast as a premier destination for business events.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: AUSTRALIA NEXT POST FAMIL
We’re pleased to confirm a post famil opportunity with Business Events Australia (BEA) for later this year. Attendees for this famil are hosted buyers from Greater China (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Indonesia, who will be attending Australia Next in Melbourne.
The visit will provide an opportunity for attendees to engage with experiences firsthand and to network with industry, offering a valuable platform to showcase their product directly to qualified buyers. It’s also a great opportunity to highlight new product and reinforce Australia is open for business to buyers with strong potential.

AUSTRALIAN PHARMACY PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE AND TRADE EXHIBITION | 20-23 MARCH 2025
Held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP) is the largest pharmacy conference in the southern hemisphere, bringing together proprietors, pharmacists, interns, students, pharmacy assistants and industry professionals for networking, upskilling, and professional development each year.
At a glance, APP 2025:
- attracted 7,737 attendees across 4 days. When accompanying people are taken into consideration, there were 8,456 individuals who attended the conference and/or visited the Gold Coast
- generated direct and incremental expenditure of $20,235,940 attributable to the Gold Coast economy and $17,108,441 attributable to the Queensland economy
- was responsible for generating 30,139 visitor nights in Gold Coast. The majority of these nights were generated by interstate visitors (20,759).
