Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition is back for its 23rd year, transforming the sands of Currumbin Beach into an open-air gallery from 12–21 September 2025. Over 80 awe-inspiring works by local, national and international artists will stretch from Currumbin Alley to Flat Rock, Tugun – the festival’s biggest footprint yet.

Beyond the beach, SWELL offers a vibrant program of guided walks, live music, artist panels, workshops and masterclasses. Dive into SWELL Smalls Gallery, SWELL Kids Elements and SWELL Wellness at Len Wort Park, while SWELL Fringe at Wallace Nicoll Park comes alive with music, panels and culinary adventures.

Whether you’re exploring by day or under the night lights, SWELL is a feast for the senses and an unmissable celebration of art and place. There is something for everyone at SWELL.

Park and ride from Currumbin RSL daily 9am to 5pm. SWELL is free with bookings for special ticketed events online.

CRAFTED FESTIVAL RETURNS TO KURRAWA PARK

Crafted1.jpgThe iconic Gold Coast Crafted Festival is rolling into Kurrawa Park for its ninth year and it’s set to be the biggest pour yet, featuring 50+ breweries, 400+ brews, and fresh drops from local legends and cult favourite brewers from across the country. Expect an endless stream of festival exclusives and limited releases across a full day, 11am–8.30pm, Saturday 13 September 2025.

It’s not just about the beer – there’ll be cocktails, spirits, and wine masterclasses, plus a mouth-watering lineup of street eats. Crafted Smokeshow makes its debut with a brand-new meat-lovers’ zone that includes sizzling demos, smoked meats and legendary eating competitions.

The Gold Coast Music Stage will buzz all day with a soundtrack of live local indie acts and DJs, bringing sun-soaked festival vibes from the first sip to the final toast. And for those who like their beer with a side of competition, the Crafted Games Arena brings beer yoga, ping pong battles and basketball shootouts.

After a pre-sale that disappeared faster than a cold one on a summer day, demand is sky high for 2025, so gather the crew and book tickets now.
